Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a proactive ATS/SCADA and Telecommunications Administrator based in Pearl City, HI. You will oversee operational systems, troubleshoot faults, and support field technicians while maintaining safety and performance standards.

The role requires flexible shift work typical of major infrastructure projects and rail transit operations. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in ATS/SCADA with strong Windows and networking skills, plus IT/datacenter experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in communication system maintenance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of ATS, SCADA and Telecommunications systems; 5+ years Windows & networking experience.
• Experience in IT: Systems & Network Engineering in a Datacenter environment.
• Expert knowledge in communications systems including CCTV/IP cameras.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ATS, SCADA and Telecommunications systems to meet contract performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults; support field technicians.
• Repair outages on ATS/SCADA, CCTV, network equipment and ACS/IDS.
• Generate reports on operations, faults, safety and maintenance activities.
• Conduct training for ATS, SCADA and Telecommunication technicians.
