Job summary

The Dimock Center is seeking a Program Director for Acute Treatment Services (ATS) to provide executive leadership of the ATS program, ensuring safe, compliant, and patient-centered substance use disorder treatment. This role oversees staffing, regulatory compliance (BSAS/DPH), operational performance, and collaboration with hospital partners to deliver high-quality care 24/7.

You will lead budgeting, strategic planning, and performance improvement, while fostering a culture of accountability

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health.
• Minimum three years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with BSAS-licensed services, preferably Acute Treatment Services.
• Experience managing budgets, personnel, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and 24/7 operations oversight of the ATS program.
• Develop and monitor program goals, policies, procedures, and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure staffing patterns, scheduling, and workforce deployment to meet patient needs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical, operational, quality, and financial objectives.
• Monitor metrics such as census, length of stay, discharge outcomes, and patient experience.
• Maintain program compliance with BSAS regulations and DPH requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to support continuity of care.
