Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Atrial Fibrillation Coordinator to serve as a clinical expert in rhythm management for patients with atrial dysrhythmias.

The role develops standards and protocols for the AF program in line with Heart Rhythm Society and AHA guidelines, coordinates evaluation and screening, and acts as the navigator for patients and coordination with EP/cardiology teams.

Qualifications

• RN with Georgia state licensure required
• 4 years of clinical experience in cardiac rhythm management required
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and protocols for the Atrial Fibrillation program per guidelines
• Coordinate evaluation and screening of patients with atrial dysrhythmias
• Serve as the primary point person for electrophysiology/cardiology teams
• Coordinate inter-departmental processes and staff competency
• Act as patient navigator to ensure continuity of care
