Job summary

Delux Public Charter, LLC is seeking a First Officer at JSX to operate aircraft safely and efficiently while providing exceptional service. This role averages typical schedules of 3‑5 legs per day across 14‑16 days monthly, ensuring a work‑life balance.

Responsibilities include pre-flight preparation, in-flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations, and representation of JSX's high safety and customer standards. A valid FAA Pilot Certificate and a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 500 multi-engine hours.
• Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months.
• No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with regulations.

About the Role

As a First Officer at JSX, you’ll operate aircraft safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all regulations while delivering exceptional service to every flight. Typical schedules average 3‑5 legs per day across 14‑16 days per month, prioritizing work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑flight preparation: review flight details, collaborate with the Captain, perform pre‑flight checks.
• In‑flight operations: operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, maintain communication with Mission Control, Ground Operations, ATC, and Flight Attendant.
• Secondary decision support: serve as the secondary voice to the Captain, act quickly in dynamic conditions.
• Post‑flight duties: assist with quick‑turn tasks, log maintenance in Traxxall, communicate updates to Mission Control.
• Participate in recurrent training and performance evaluations.
• Assist with baggage handling or other duties at smaller airports where ground support is limited.
• Consistently represent JSX with the highest safety, professionalism, and customer standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 2,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 500 multi‑engine hours.
• Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months.
• No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, suspensions.
• No significant training/check‑ride failures.

Preferred Experience

• 3,000+ total time.
• Turbine aircraft experience.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Valid FAA Pilot Certificate appropriate to the aircraft and operating position held.
• Current and valid Driver’s license and Passport.
• Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi‑Engine Certificate.
• Current and valid FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.

Compensation & Perks

• Training compensation: $150.00 (+per diem) daily, up to $259.00 (+per diem) on the line.
• 14‑day minimum per month salary guaranteed.
• Productivity pay and quarterly bonuses.
• Uniform allowance, annual replenishment, EFB (iPad), KCM badge, Jumpseat/CASS participation.
• Incentive pay for duties beyond the 14‑16 day average and additional hours over an 8‑hour average duty day.
