Job summary

Space Ocean Corp is seeking an experienced Assembly, Integration & Test Lead to build and lead our ATLO team for next-generation satellite-based fluid transport spacecraft. You will oversee payload and spacecraft bus assembly, test campaigns, and transition to launch across a distributed US team.

The role requires 5+ years in space-flight ATLO, leadership in fast-paced environments, travel 10–20%, and ability to work remotely with strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in assembly, integration and test of complex spacecraft.
• Experience with space systems, satellites and launch operations.
• Proven track record in launch campaigns and payload integration.
• Participation in design reviews (CDR, MRR, TRR, etc.).
• Leadership in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate and test payloads and spacecraft bus with subsystems.
• Oversee transition from build/test to launch and perform functional checkouts.
• Lead floor technicians and test engineers; coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement test facilities, processes and procedures from the ground up.
• Define ATLO strategy and identify tools/resources for long-term goals.
