Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Global Corporate Controller based in Atlanta to lead worldwide accounting operations. You will own close processes, consolidations, and financial reporting while partnering with senior leadership on acquisitions and process improvements.

Expect to scale a multinational accounting organization with a lean team, across multiple countries and currencies, in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Active CPA designation required.
• 11-13+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Big 4 or national public accounting firm audit experience required.
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and global accounting operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing consolidated international financial statements.
• Expertise in inventory accounting and cost accounting.
• Experience leading accounting operations across multiple countries, entities, and currencies.
• Proven ability to develop scalable accounting processes and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee global consolidations, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Manage audit, treasury activities, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as strategic partner to executive leadership on acquisitions and integrations.
• Develop international accounting organization as new entities are added.
• Lead a small team and build talent for a growing global footprint.
