Job summary

Fresno State Athletic Corporation is seeking a Strategic Communications Coordinator to assist in directing strategic communications, sports information, and media relations for Bulldog athletics. The role focuses on creating timely, compelling content that boosts brand exposure and fan engagement across multiple platforms.

The position requires strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building with media, along with the ability to manage content calendars and operate under NCAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in collegiate or professional sports communications.
• Sports information experience working as a media contact for assigned sports.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage strategic communications, sports information, and media relations for assigned sports.
• Develop and implement digital content strategies to enhance brand exposure locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Create engaging storylines and game notes, previews, recaps, and features in AP style.
• Coordinate with media contacts and distribute content across platforms on a regular content calendar.
