Brown University Athletics is seeking an Athletics Photography Assistant to photograph games, practices, and events in Providence, RI. This part-time seasonal role supports the Athletics and Recreation department with on-site coverage.

The candidate will shoot live events and edit images, with occasional evening and weekend work. You must provide your own camera and editing laptop, and be prepared for a background check as part of employment at Brown.

Job Description

Brown University Athletics is seeking candidates for the Athletics Photography Assistant. This position will be tasked with photographing games, practices, and other events as they arise.

Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 38 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).

Duties

• Shooting and editing photos at live athletic events such as games and practices
• Shooting and editing photos of other events as they arise

Required qualifications

• Access to your own camera and other photography equipment
• Access to your own computer for editing purposes
• The ability to work nights and weekends

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
