The University of Central Oklahoma Athletics Department is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support its ticketing operations. You will oversee ticket sales across multiple sports and manage gameday activities under the Deputy Director’s supervision.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and admission to a UCO master’s program, with evenings and weekends potentially required. This position is a student labor role based in Edmond, OK, with up to 25 hours weekly and no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and admittance into a master’s program at UCO.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong people skills and strong organizational & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops timelines, plans and strategies for annual ticket sales efforts, including mailings, online, telemarketing and grass-root initiatives.
• Performs individual game and group ticket sales for football, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, soccer, baseball, softball and volleyball to the general public.
• Responsible for gameday ticketing operations for UCO-hosted events including NCAA and/or MIAA conference postseason ticketed events for all sports.
• Provides excellent customer service experience to donors and patrons and resolves complex ticket sales or event questions.
• Assists in staffing and game coverage logistics to maximize efficiency.
• Oversees internal controls and procedures for the Ticket Office including auditing, allocation, distribution of tickets, and safeguarding funds.
• Assists with design and production of promotional materials to promote ticket sales and group outings.
• Updates ticket accounts and coordinates ticket information on athletics website.
• Runs daily and post-event sales reports.
• Gameday operations support including setup and teardown for events.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required based on athletic events schedule.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
