Athletics General Pool - Elementary Intramural Coaching & Referees

This pool is for Elementary Intramural Coaching positions within Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) for the 2024-25 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and/or referee elementary sports within Cincinnati Public Schools.
• Work with students to develop skills in Flag Football, Volleyball, T-Ball, Soccer, Basketball, Brain Bowl, and Track & Field.
• Inspire and motivate students to participate in sports.
• Build relationships and coach students of all skill levels.
• Teach fundamental skills and strategies for success in sports.
• Promote good sportsmanship and ensure safety.
• Help students understand game rules and regulations.
• Encourage moral values, pride, social behaviors, self-discipline, and confidence.
• Comply with district and state requirements, including Coaches Tool Chest training and Ohio Department of Education Pupil Activity Permit.
• Maintain appropriate sideline conduct and serve as a positive role model.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications
