Job summary

Yale University is seeking an Associate Director of Athletics for Business in New Haven. This senior role leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the Athletics Department, acting as Controller and coordinating with the University Controller’s Office to ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance.
• Six years of related experience.
• Demonstrated application of financial, accounting and economic concepts.
• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting support with department heads and coaches.
• Act as Controller for the Department of Athletics with university policies.
• Coordinate all financial audits (external and internal) including EADA and NCAA procedures.
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency in the Yale Athletics Finance Office.
• Collaborate with the Ivy League office on various items.
