Job summary

University of California, Riverside's Intercollegiate Athletics department seeks a Financial and Budget Analyst to independently perform complex financial, budgetary, and compliance analysis. You will support long-range planning, evaluate fiscal performance, and prepare reports for committees.

You will manage budget planning and financial reporting for 17 NCAA Division I programs, prepare NCAA, Big West, and DOE/EADA reports, and assist with year-end closing and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial, budgetary, and compliance analysis.
• Ability to prepare financial materials and dashboards for committee meetings.
• Experience with annual NCAA AUP audits and government reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex financial, budgetary, and compliance analysis for the Athletics Department.
• Manage budget planning and financial reporting for 17 NCAA Division I programs.
• Prepare NCAA, Big West Conference (BWC), and governmental reports (e.g., DOE/EADA).
• Lead year-end fiscal closing and general ledger reconciliations; address discrepancies.
