Kentucky State University is seeking a PT Fed Work-Study Student to support athletic communications, digital media and game-day operations in Frankfort, KY. Responsibilities include content creation, updating rosters and statistics, graphics development, and event support.

You will assist with social media, video capture, broadcasting support and ticketing tasks while maintaining professional standards during home games and campus events.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a University student and eligible for Federal Work-Study.
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and athletic events.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work ALL home games.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media or digital tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, scheduling and distributing content for departmental social media platforms.
• Update team schedules, rosters, statistics, records, biographies and other athletics site information.
• Help develop graphics, promotional materials and game-day content.
• Capture photos and short-form video during practices, games and events.
• Assist with writing game previews, recaps, press releases and features.
• Monitor social media and promote student-athletes, coaches and teams.
• Maintain organized digital files of photos, videos and statistics.
• Distribute final scores, statistics and postgame information.
