Job summary

CSU Bakersfield Athletics seeks an entry-level Sports Information Professional I to support multimedia content creation and communications. The role covers graphic design, photography, videography, social media, and digital storytelling to promote CSUB Athletics, its student-athletes, coaches, and programs.

You will contribute to game-day coverage, asset management, and cross-team collaborations while upholding department branding standards.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor7s degree in a related field; substitution possible year-for-year.
• Experience in creating and editing multimedia content for athletics or similar.
• Ability to manage social media platforms and produce engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Support multimedia content creation for Roadrunner Athletics, including graphic design and video.
• Assist with social media content calendars and live game coverage.
• Capture high-quality photo and video content at practices, games, and events.
• Edit and produce highlight videos and interviews for athletics channels.
• Maintain digital media archives and ensure branding consistency.
