The Athletics Business Coordinator provides general bookkeeping tothe athletics department and has the primary responsibility for thepurchasing functions in the department. This position, incollaboration with the Director of Business Operations, isresponsible for the generation and analysis of departmental monthlybudget reports. This position assists other administrativepersonnel and coaching staff with business operational needs.Finally, this position will assist with the management of theconcessions program.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in athletics, strongfinancial analysis skills, strong communication skills, and have abasic understanding of general accounting principles.
This position may require occasional work outdoors at events.
On campus position: This position is exclusively on-site,necessitating all duties to be performed in-person. Per Rice policy 440, workarrangements may be subject to change.
