Job summary

Allegheny College Athletics is seeking an Athletics Assistant for Men’s Basketball to support the head coach and staff in daily operations, game-day activities, and travel logistics. The role includes on-court and sideline assistance, equipment management, and administrative support to the coaching staff.

The position requires dedicated support during practices and games, with flexible evening/weekend hours as needed.

This role provides hands‑on assistance during practices and games, ensures equipment readiness, and helps maintain a professional environment for student‑athletes.

Responsibilities

• Attend team practices and games, providing on‑court and sideline support.
• Travel with the team for road games and related events.
• Operate the scoreboard and shot clock during practices.
• Assist coaches in setting up and executing drills and practice plans.
• Pack, transport, and inventory equipment for home and away contests.
• Maintain and organize team equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
• Provide general administrative support to the coaching staff as needed.
