Job Summary

Assistant Coach Men’s Basketball

Under the supervision of the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, the incumbent will be the primary contact for student-athlete recruitment and assist in all aspects of operating an NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball program, including coaching, recruiting, maintaining a strong academic environment, student-athlete development, compliance, retention, managing budgets, fundraising, organizing practices, and developing schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Collegiate coaching experience or higher.

Special Conditions

The position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and requires compliance with CSU Executive Order 1083. A satisfactory background check, including a criminal records check, is required before employment. Failure to pass the background check may result in withdrawal of the job offer.
