The Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg/Leominster is seeking a Youth Development Professional for an onsite, part-time after-school program. You will help create a safe, engaging environment where young people can learn, connect, and build confidence.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, welcoming youth, guiding transitions between activities, listening, and supporting positive interactions. Mon–Fri 1:30pm–6pm, with a meaningful, everyday impact.

A Typical Shift

You’ll arrive and get set up for the afternoon, checking the space and materials before members come in. Once the program starts, the pace is active greeting youth, helping them transition between activities, and keeping the room calm and upbeat. You’ll spend time listening, encouraging participation, and helping kids navigate small conflicts or big feelings. As the day winds down, you’ll help with clean-up, quick notes for the team, and a smooth pick-up process so everyone heads home safely.
