Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years of college plus one year in grounds and turf maintenance OR two years as Landscape Worker I with Athletics training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, supervision, and maintenance of athletic fields and facilities for practices, events and games.
• Ensure field layout and painting meet NCAA regulations.
• Assist equipment operators with mowing and maintenance; supervise chemical mixtures and calibration.
• Oversee irrigation and drainage systems; maintain shop/storage areas.
• Assist in game day maintenance and postgame cleanup; attend NCAA games as needed.
• Serve as liaison for the Athletic Department in the director’s absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
