Job: Athletic Trainer
Hours: Traditional AT hours, nights and weekends expected
Location: Coatesville School District
Department: LGHP Sports Med at Kissel Hill
Athletic Trainers (ATs) work under the supervision of a physician to provide injury prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, while demonstrating professional and organizational skills to promote the health and well-being to the patients they serve. They may work in the clinic or outreach setting at the highest level of their licensure and conduct themselves in accordance with the professional standards set forth by the BOC and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians.
Maintains valid PA State Athletic Training license
Maintains CPR Healthcare/BLS certification.
Maintains CEU requirements to stay in compliance with BOC requirements
Maintains valid Driver’s License
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with peers and leaders within the practice, health system, and community.
