Job summary

The Walla Walla School District is seeking a Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator whose duties include administering district athletic training services for home practices and contests, providing emergency care and rehabilitation, and maintaining injury records. The role reports to the District Athletic Director.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s in Sports Medicine, Board Certified and State Licensed Athletic Trainer status, with 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator

PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Athletic Trainer substitute will provide athletic training services to student-athletes at both practices and athletic contests.

Essential Functions

• Provide athletic training services for home practices and athletic contests as assigned.
• Provide district athletic training services to include rendering of emergency care at athletic practices and contests and rehabilitation and reconditioning of students whose conditions are within the professional preparation and education of a certified athletic trainer.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments and provide insurance claim forms for sports injuries treated by a physician.
• Administer and manage SWAY concussion testing
• Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
• Hours to be determined based on availability and workload .. Saturday game coverage will be needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Sports Medicine or related field.
• Board Certified Athletic Trainer
• State Licensed Athletic Trainer
• Two to three years professional experience preferred
