Job summary

Xavier University in Cincinnati is seeking two Athletic Trainers to care for student-athletes, prevent injuries, and assist in rehabilitation. The roles require collaboration with team physicians and the Sports Medicine staff to provide comprehensive care.

The positions involve Graston technique, dry needling, and coordination with Beacon Orthopedics and TriHealth. This is a 10-month term (Aug–May); candidates must have CAATE-accredited degrees, BOC certification, Ohio license, and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Master's degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program.
• BOC certification or eligible to obtain certification.
• Current state athletic training license (Ohio) or eligible for licensure.
• CPR/AED Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care, prevention, and rehabilitation of all athletic-related injuries for Xavier student-athletes under supervision of team physician and Sports Medicine staff.
• Oversee rehabilitation, medical record keeping, supplies, inventory and budget allocation; assist with drug education and safety trainings.
• Coordinate with Beacon Orthopedics, TriHealth, and other providers to support student-athletes; report injuries weekly.
