Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer to provide sports-injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and on-site coverage for area schools and athletic events.
This role requires an Athletic Trainer license for the practicing state; Master’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s acceptable); about two years of related experience; and BLS certification. Weekend on-call support is included to cover events.

Performs And Documents As Directed By Physician For Patients Classified As Athletes According To State Licensure Act. Independently Assesses Patients/Athletes To Determine Appropriate Athletic Injury Care Or Referral To Physician For Evaluation. Provides Rehabilitation And Athletic Injury Coverage For Area Schools. In Clinical Setting, Delivers Treatment Under Direction Of Evaluating Therapist To Meet Stated Goals.
This may range from middle school, to high school to college events.
Upon Hire, Must Have Athletic Trainer License For The State In Which They Are Practicing.
Master'S Degree Is Preferred But Will Accept Bachelor'S Degree. Preferred Two Years Of Working Experience As A Certified Athletic Trainer.
