The licensed athletic trainer delivers care under the direction and/or collaboration of a physician or licensed rehab therapist and functions as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary care team. The trainer works closely with the supervising therapist, physician, or APP by assisting in maintaining clinic flow, clinic cleanliness and stocking, patient education, community outreach, performing therapeutic interventions, supervising group classes, and assisting with office procedures. The athletic trainer is also responsible for carrying out other clinic duties and clerical responsibilities as detailed below, supporting clinic operations and delivering high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in collaboration with a supervising physician, therapist, and clinical care team.
