Job summary

Asheville Non-Surgical Orthopedics is seeking an athletic trainer to join our small, collaborative clinic in Asheville, NC. You will administer Shockwave and MLS Laser therapies under physician guidance and participate in regenerative medicine procedures while undergoing extensive training.

Qualifications

• 2 years in health, wellness, or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and related therapies.
• Cross-train in Shockwave and Laser therapy.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Shockwave and MLS Laser therapy under physician guidance.
• Extensive training and certification courses are provided.
• Monitor patient progress and educate on therapies.
• Prepare and complete patient notes with accurate documentation.
• Assist with regenerative medicine procedures and injections.
• Draw blood for procedures (preferred, not required).
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment spaces.
• Support staff with scheduling, payments, calls, and front-desk tasks.
• Take photos for social media or educational purposes.
• Collaborate with doctors and therapists to improve plans.
• Support team with miscellaneous duties as needed.
