Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an Athletic Trainer PRN to deliver high-quality care to athletes and support the sports medicine team. You will work under the supervision of a sports medicine physician, providing preventative and rehabilitative care, first aid, and game supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an approved athletic training program, Florida licensure (or eligibility with licensure within 6 months), and Basic Life Support within 30 days of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or graduate from a certified athletic training program is required.
• Florida license as Athletic Trainer or eligible to sit for the exam (license within 6 months).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality preventative and rehabilitative care to athletes.
• Perform evaluation, first aid, and supervise practices/games.
• Maintain effective communication with athletes, parents, coaches, and physicians; track injuries.
