Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services at various high schools in Oldham County and Henry County. This role involves acting as a liaison between athletes and medical personnel, maintaining treatment records, and assisting with promotional events.
The position primarily offers PRN coverage, making it suitable for individuals looking for flexible work opportunities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, and previous experience is preferred but not required.
The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services in accordance with state athletic training practice act at various high schools in Oldham County and Henry County. They will maintain appropriate general treatment orders to be reviewed annually and approved by the physician. They will act as liaison between family physicians and specialists, athletes, and their parents as needed. They will also act as a liaison between athlete, medical assistant, physician, or physician office staff. They will maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and referrals in the injury tracking and referral electronic health record program. They will assist in promotional events for the sports medicine program as needed and cover outside events such as tournaments, races, etc. as needed.
This position primarily provides PRN coverage to various high schools in Oldham County and Henry County.
