Job summary

TriHealth Podiatry seeks an experienced Athletic Trainer to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, patient education, and recovery plans for podiatry patients. You will collaborate with podiatric providers, physical therapists, and team staff to deliver personalized, one‑on‑one guidance and program implementation across multiple locations.

Location are Clifton, Anderson, and Glenway with travel between sites; full-time schedule at 80 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training.
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • NATA certification (BOC).
  • Current Ohio licensure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer application proficiency.
  • 3–4 years of experience in athletic training or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic injury prevention and rehabilitation guidance in multiple settings.
  • Develop, implement, and progress individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs.
  • Assist trainers, physicians, therapists, and staff in transition and implementation of rehabilitation plans.
  • Educate staff, coaches, athletes, and community on injury prevention and care.
  • Document and monitor post‑rehabilitation participants through charting and messaging.
  • Assist in training program development and performance improvement for athletes.
  • Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and apply protective devices as needed.

Athletic Trainer – Podiatry

TriHealth Podiatry invites an experienced Athletic Trainer to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, patient education, and recovery plans for podiatry patients. The role involves collaboration with podiatric providers, physical therapists, and team staff to provide personalized, one‑on‑one guidance and program implementation.

Location: Clifton – 379 Dixmyth Avenue; Anderson – 7794 Five Mile Road; Glenway – 6350 Glenway Avenue, Floor 3. Must be willing to travel between locations.

Work Schedule: Full‑Time (80 hours bi‑weekly)

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay based on education and experience, eligibility for up to a $500 sign‑on bonus, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic injury prevention and rehabilitation guidance to patients in multiple settings (physician office, fitness center, sports setting).
  • Develop, implement, and progress individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs.
  • Assist the lead athletic trainer, physicians, therapists, and office staff in transition and implementation of rehabilitation plans.
  • Educate staff, coaches, athletes, medical personnel, and community members on injury prevention and care.
  • Document and monitor post‑rehabilitation participants through charting and Fitlinxx messaging.
  • Assist the physical therapist in training program development and routine performance improvement for athletes.
  • Maintain equipment, assist in cleaning and stocking supplies, and apply protective devices as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
  • National Athletic Trainers Association certification (BOC).
  • Current Ohio licensure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer application proficiency.
  • 3–4 years of experience in a related athletic training or rehabilitation field.
