Job Description Summary

This is a non-exempt position, used for all contingent and part-time roles where the weekly salary is less than $455 due to FLSA regulations. The position involves fulfilling a contractual agreement with specified schools in central Ohio to provide Certified Athletic Trainers to high schools as outlined annually.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Evaluate athletic-related injuries
  2. Provide athletic care before, during, and after events as outlined by the school district
  3. Travel with athletic teams to away events depending on hours and availability

The listed duties are not all-inclusive. Employees are expected to perform other duties as requested by their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED (Required)
  • Ohio licensure in the relevant field
Additional Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified in Ohio by the OT/PT/AT Board as a certified athletic trainer
  • Experience in school-based sports training preferred for new grads
