Description

A Brief Overview

Supports athletes and athletic programs by providing comprehensive fitness, nutrition, injury care, and conditioning programs.

Supports high school students at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin School.

What You Will Do

1. Perform athlete evaluations on and off the field; provide immediate care as needed and develop effective treatment plans tailored to the athlete’s needs.
2. Select and competently use a variety of appropriate treatment techniques.
3. Educate athletes and their families on treatment and prevention strategies.
4. Regularly update and maintain documentation using UH preferred injury tracking software.
5. Assist with activities such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventories, billing, etc.
6. Meet regularly with the senior athletic trainer to review competencies and skills related to patient care and sports management at the assigned location.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Comply with all policies and standards.
3. Refer to departmental documentation provided during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
4. Maintain compliance with all requirements for the safe and secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI), including annual training and adherence to UH policies and the UH Code of Conduct.
