Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking an Athletic Trainer for outreach at Lutheran West High School. The role supports athletes with comprehensive fitness, injury care, nutrition, and conditioning programs.

You will evaluate athletes, deliver immediate care or treatment plans, and document care using UH software. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine, NATA certification, and Ohio licensure, with 1+ years of ATC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine or related program.
• 1+ years experience as an ATC; knowledge of injury prevention and first aid.
• NATA certification and Ohio licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate athletes on/off the field and provide immediate care or develop treatment plans.
• Use diverse treatment techniques as appropriate.
• Educate athletes and families on treatment and prevention.
• Document injuries with UH software and maintain records.
• Assist Athletic Director with supplies, inventory, and billing.
• Meet with senior athletic trainer to review competencies and patient care.
