Job summary

OrthoAlaska in Wasilla is seeking a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer to join our orthopedic team, providing care at high schools, community events and our clinic.

The role requires on-site evaluation, injury prevention and rehabilitation planning, with collaboration among physicians, coaches and staff. Minimum three years experience, ATC and CPR credentials, Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• National certification (ATC) through the Board of Certification, Inc.
• Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage health care of participating athletes including first aid and on-site evaluation.
• Design injury prevention, rehabilitation and wellness programs.
• Instruct athletes, parents, coaches and medical personnel in proper care and prevention.
• Maintain medical records and submit injury reports.
• Organize pre- and post-participation physicals.
• Supervise student athletic trainers, aides and volunteers.
