Job summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer for the Star Pool location in Frisco, TX. This full-time, daytime role supports on-site healthcare services for sports medicine, focusing on prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and safe return to activity.
Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians, documenting progress, and promoting the program to patients and the community.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
- Certification/License: Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) required or in process.
Responsibilities
- Prevents, evaluates, treats and rehabilitates recreational injuries under physician direction.
- Maintains accurate documentation within licensed scope of practice.
- Liaises with physicians and caregivers; communicates restrictions or accommodations.
- Assists with the sports medicine program to ensure operations.
- Markets sports medicine services to internal and external customers.
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Documents clinical notes and other required care records.
