Allina Health in Edina, MN is seeking an Athletic Trainer for a 1.0 FTE day shift to support orthopedic and sports medicine care. You’ll collaborate with physicians, provide direct patient care, injury prevention, and outreach at schools and community events.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Athletic Training (or Bachelor’s prior to 2022) and MN/WI licensure on hire; BLS certification is required. No weekend shifts; Metro clinic setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training required.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training prior to 2022.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer in MN/WI upon hire and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care for patients with orthopedic/sports medicine teams.
• Performs rooming, vitals, histories and documents in EMR.
• Gathers histories and conducts initial exams for provider review.
• Gives patient education before/after encounters and coordinates care with clinicians.
• Assists with casting, DME use, and rehabilitation support.
• Provides outreach athletic training services at practices and events.
