Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic, part of the Optum family, is recruiting an Certified Athletic Trainer/Orthopedic Assistant to collaborate with health care disciplines under supervision of a Sports Medicine Provider or Orthopedic Surgeon. The role focuses on direct and indirect patient care across prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field.
• NATA certification is required for eligibility.
• Eligible for Oregon State Licensure.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate and maintain a culture aligned with the clinic's Service and Behavioral Standards.
• Assist in health care delivery including prevention, coverage, injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.
• Assist MD/DO with patient rooming, history, post-operative care, supplies, casting, injections, and follow-up.

Education

Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field

NATA certification

Oregon licensure eligibility

BLS certification (within 90 days)
