Position Summary:

The Athletic Trainer / Physical Therapist recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to athletes. Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques. Additional responsibilities include:

• Provides athletic training services in clinic, at schools, and within the community
• Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary. Maintains a medical file on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete.
• Prepares athletes for practice or competition.
• Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes.
• Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.

Minimum Qualifications:

• License: Utah Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist license or able to obtain
• Certification: National Athletic Trainer Association certification if an Athletic Trainer

Schedule:

Full-time, Day shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only
