Job description

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Athletic Trainer.

In this role, the successful candidate provides support and services related to the Sports Orthopedic clinical and educational programs. Responsibilities include implementing injury prevention strategies, providing emergency care and first aid to individuals with athletic injuries, evaluating athletic injuries, and implementing medically prescribed therapeutic reconditioning programs in schools. The role also involves providing school sports coverage for contracted schools, which may include middle school, high school, college/university, and club sports. Additionally, the Athletic Trainer will develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and community outreach initiatives aligned with the Department's strategic plan and the institution's mission, assisting the Senior Program Coordinator and Department Director in program development and compliance.
