As the Athletic Trainer on our team, you'll enrich patients' lives by using your full scope of skills to provide clinical support in the provision of quality orthopedic care and treatment. You'll work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers, and collaborate with local high schools and community partnerships.

Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus

This is a full-time role supporting a non-operative Sports Medicine Float Team. The primary location will be at our Vadnais Heights campus, with flexibility to float to other Summit locations as needed (Eagan, Plymouth, and our M-Health Fairview Campus in Woodbury). The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, but may vary based on team/clinic needs.

Responsibilities

1. Room patients, obtain health histories, and perform initial and secondary assessments.
2. Document patient information and care in medical records.
3. Complete forms and documentation for patients, employers, or insurance companies.
4. Assess post-operative wounds and provide standardized wound care instructions.
5. Provide patient education verbally or in writing.
6. Act as a liaison between patients/families and physicians, and serve as a resource for clinical staff on orthopedic questions.
7. Travel to and support outreach locations and athletic events as assigned.
8. Maintain cleanliness and stock of patient exam rooms.

Our hiring range for this position is $26.40 to $33.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include bonuses, differentials, or deferred compensation. Final salary will be determined based on skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
