Reporting to the Athletic Director, Bancroft School seeks a qualified substitute Athletic Trainer to provide coverage during a family leave for our current Athletic Trainer. This long‑term substitute position is responsible for organizing and maintaining the athletic training facility, providing a wide range of prevention and treatment services for student‑athlete injuries, rehabilitation, evaluation, reconditioning, education, and guidance; and performing related work as required. The duration of this position is from August 17, 2026‑November 14, 2026.
The substitute Athletic Trainer will practice within the parameters of the state of Massachusetts Athletic Trainers Licensing Law, and will follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association. The duties of this position are based on the needs of the school and its athletic program and include:

Bancroft School offers a competitive salary range for this position of $40 to $70 per hour, determined by the scope of responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational considerations. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, skills, expertise, and internal equity. Final salary details, along with a comprehensive benefits package, will be provided upon an employment offer.
