Keene State College in Keene, NH seeks a qualified allied health professional to provide comprehensive athletic healthcare for varsity student-athletes under the Head Athletic Trainer. The role encompasses prevention, evaluation, immediate care, rehabilitation, and administrative duties within Sports Medicine.
Requirements include an entry level Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training with two years of experience, BOC-ATC certification, and NH licensure eligibility.
Under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, this position will provide athletic healthcare services for all varsity level student-athletes. in close cooperation with Head Athletic Trainer, Athletic Training Staff, Team Physicians, and Health Services, assist in the overall service component to Athletics that includes: Prevention, Clinical Evaluation and Diagnosis, Immediate Care Treatment, Rehabilitation & Reconditioning, Organization & Administration and Professional Responsibility. Other duties as assigned. All staff positions on campus support students and will be involved in student-focused activities.
As an allied health professional, the position requires providing all aspects of student athlete health care focused on evidenced based medicine to include but not limited to the following:
Other Duties as Assigned. These duties would be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and could include, inventory, CPR instructor for athletic staff, online student athletic medical records system super user (Sportsware), etc.
Entry level Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field or a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field and two years of experience as a certified athletic trainer BOCATC Certification Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of NH
This position falls within the collective bargaining unit for the Keene State College Staff Association (KSCSA), an affiliate of the National Education Association of New Hampshire (NEA-NH).

$40,020.00 - $71,130.00 The pay range for this position is listed above. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
