Indiana University Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries. This role involves coordinating sports medicine services, managing patient care, and working closely with a surgeon specializing in hip preservation for young adults. Qualified candidates must have an appropriate degree, state licensure, and specific certifications.
Assesses, treats, and rehabilitates athletic injuries under the guidance of a licensed physician. Contributes to the planning and implementation of specific treatment and prevention programs for patients and student groups. Coordinates and provides sports medicine and/or rehabilitation services, ensuring ordered procedures, treatments, and documentation are completed. Provides athletic training services for athletic, community, and outreach events.

Special Note: This position will work directly with a surgeon specializing in Hip Preservation for young adults with Hip Dysplasia.
Experience: 1-3 years of prior experience in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine is required. Candidate should be comfortable with paperwork; casting experience is a plus.
