Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology, current state licensure (WV/OH), and Board Certification. Preference given to candidates with 2 years of athletic training experience and a strong focus on injury prevention and safe return-to-play strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology.
• Current Licensure as required by the state of service (OH WV).
• National Certification through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site injury prevention, taping, bracing, and warm-up supervision.
• Responds to acute injuries and emergencies during practices and games.
• Conducts injury evaluations and coordinates referrals with physicians.
• Manages concussion protocols and return-to-play progression.
• Travels with teams as needed, often afternoons/evenings/weekends.
• Educates on injury prevention and safe return-to-activity protocols.
