Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers in West Hartford, CT, is seeking an Industrial & Tactical Athletic Trainer to prevent injuries, enhance readiness, and optimize performance for industrial and tactical workforces.

You will work with employer contracts across Central and Eastern Connecticut, following OSHA standards, and collaborating with physicians and clients to keep teams healthy and productive.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed and certified Athletic Trainer.
• Experience delivering AT services in employer-based settings.
• Certified Athletic Trainer with NATA.
• Current CPR/AED Professional Rescue and Healthcare Certification.
• Certification in OSHA-10 or greater.
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously.

Aufgaben

• Follow OSHA standards of care and documentation of first aid provided to workplace employees.
• Provide services to employers per contractual agreements with PTSMC.
• Perform job-site analysis to identify injury risks and advise clients on prevention.
• Establish injury data and cost-savings reporting for employers.
• Develop training and prevention programs as directed by employers.
• Participate in ergonomic, safety & injury prevention meetings with employers.
• Communicate with employers, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

As part of our Employer Services division, you’ll collaborate directly with employees in demanding environments to deliver proactive, hands-on care that keeps them at their best.

This position supports employer contracts in Central and Eastern Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA standards of care and documentation of first aid provided to workplace employees
• Provide quality service to employers in accordance with contractual agreements established by PTSMC
• Provide job-site analysis to identify potential injury risks and collaborate with client management in addressing these factors through awareness, education, and intervention
• Establish and report injury data and cost savings information to employers engaged in PTSMC employer services
• Establish training and education and preventative programs as directed by employers for delivery to employees
• Participate in ergonomic, safety & injury prevention, and management meetings with employers
• Communicate effectively with employers, physicians, and other relevant healthcare providers

Qualifications

• Licensed & certified Athletic Trainer
• Prior experience providing athletic training services in an employer-based environment
• Certified Athletic Trainer with NATA
• Current CPR/AED Professional Rescue and Healthcare Certification
• Certification in OSHA-10 or greater
