Job summary

Tulane University is seeking an athletic trainer to assist with all aspects of the Department's Sports Medicine Program. This outreach-focused position involves travel and a variable schedule, including some nights and weekends.

The successful candidate will work largely independently at a local school or organization under contract with the university. Required qualifications include NATABOC certification, Louisiana LSBME licensure, and a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Assists with all aspects of the Departments Sports Medicine Program. This position is outreach focused, with some travel required. You will be based at a local school or similar organization that likely has a contract with the University for Trainer services. The ability to exceed the contracting organization’s needs while working largely independently is critical.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
