Job summary

ProgressiveHealth's Union Hospital Therapy, LLC in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an energetic Athletic Trainer for a multi-sport setting. You will evaluate or treat injuries, provide rehabilitation, and support athletes under state practice acts.

ATs and new graduates are welcome; full-time and PRN positions available, with a starting salary of $52,000/year. The ideal candidate holds a degree in athletic training, active state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and strong professionalism with solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctoral in Athletic Training required.
• Active state licensure in good standing.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required or ability to obtain.
• Some advanced education in neuro care or sports medicine is a bonus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services as defined by state law to assigned facilities, schools, or events.
• Participate in community activities as assigned.
• Evaluate and treat athletic injuries under the practice act.
• Administer rehabilitation treatments under supervision of Medical Director.
• Cover home and away events at contracted schools.
• Render first aid to injured athletes.
• Communicate with team physicians and facilitate referrals as needed.
• Support musculoskeletal system with braces, supports, wraps and tapes.
• Treat chronic minor injuries to maintain athletes' performance.
• May perform other duties and serve on committees as assigned.
