Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide outreach services at local high schools in the Southern Indiana area. The role involves 40 hours per week with evening hours, 2-10 pm, and some Saturdays for home events.

This position is part of Baptist Health Sports Medicine and supports a regional, multi-disciplinary team. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, state licensure as an AT, and BOC certification; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• Master's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program preferred.
• Athletic Trainer licensure in state of practice.
• Athletic Trainer Certification issued by the BOC.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from an approved agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services at the assigned location, including outreach at secondary schools.
• Work 40 hours per week with hours from 2-10 pm Mon-Fri and some Saturdays for home events.
• Collaborate with a regional, multi-disciplinary health team.
• No clinical clinic duties are required in this role.

Baptist Health Sports Medicine has numerous community partnerships across the Louisville, Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), and Floyd (Southern Indiana) markets in a variety of settings including high school, collegiate, and community outreach. Athletic trainer (AT) will complete athletic training duties at assigned location.

AT will provide outreach services at the secondary school setting. This position will involve working at a local high school in southern Indiana for 40 hours per week. Hours will be 2-10 pm Mon-Fri with some Saturday hours depending on home events scheduled at the high school.

No clinic responsibilities.
