Job summary

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes in Louisville, KY. This full-time role involves servicing contracted schools and/or professional teams and coordinating access to additional health care for athletes.

Responsibilities include designing rehabilitation programs, applying athletic training techniques during games and practices, and managing emergencies while coordinating with EMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury.
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record changes.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.
