Job summary

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support athletes in local high schools and/or teams in Louisville, KY. The role includes designing rehab programs, applying athletic training techniques, and coordinating emergency responses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• State license to practice in Kentucky required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation.
• Administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Evaluate effectiveness of training/rehabilitation and document progress.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate EMS and acute care as needed.
• Promote the company through outreach events (races, clubs, etc.).
