Role Summary

Are you passionate about patient care and helping people live active lives? We are seeking a dedicated individual with a background in Durable Medical Equipment and patient care in an orthopedic setting to join us as a Field Service Representative in Lexington, KY. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment alongside talented professionals dedicated to innovation in orthopedics and beyond with brands such as DonJoy, Aircast, ProCare, and Exos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application, education, and proper use/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, bone growth stimulators, and other Enovis products prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Providing routine customer service to patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
  • Managing inventory and participating in audits.
  • Verifying patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and collection of patient responsibilities.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Adhering to all compliance, ethics, and regulatory policies, including HIPAA.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
  • Strong passion for patient care and a desire to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting, working directly with orthopedic patients or as an independent contractor.
  • Demonstrated patient care experience.
  • Experience working with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic.
  • Experience with inventory management programs and EMRs.
  • Proficiency in applying soft goods and functional bracing.
  • Knowledge of insurance reimbursement and DME billing is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active professional credentials such as Athletic Training licensure, BOC, ABC Certified Fitter-orthotics, or related certifications.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Providing patient care in various settings including offices, hospitals, and homes.
  • Potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Frequently lifting or moving up to 20 pounds.
  • Travel up to 20%, using personal transportation; overnight travel not required.
