Enovis Corporation in the East Bay Area, CA, invites a dedicated Field Service Representative with a background in athletic training and DME to join our Bracing & Supports team. You will manage DME programs, ensure proper product use, and collaborate with sales to support patient care.

This role requires strong patient-care experience, appropriate credentials, and the ability to travel within the territory. You’ll work in a fast-paced orthopedic environment with brands like DonJoy and Aircast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ direct patient care experience.
• Active Athletic Training licensure or equivalent credential.
• Experience with bracing/orthotics and soft goods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides account management and day-to-day service operations for DME programs.
• Verifies patient benefits using pre-authorization and upfront collection.
• Evaluates customer clinic needs and improves DME inventory program performance.
• Travels within territory to monitor inventory levels and troubleshoot issues.

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provides account management, manages day-to-day service operations for DME programs, and provides instruction for appropriate use and application of products.
• Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
• Performs routine evaluation of customer clinic needs and works with Sales and Field Service Teams to make modifications to improve DME inventory program performance.
• Travels within designated territory, monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels using inventory valuation methods, tracking orders, and investigating problems.
• Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
• Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.

Minimum Basic Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated patient care experience.
• Experience dealing with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic.
• Demonstrated experience with the application of soft goods/functional bracing.
• Previous experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs.
• Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
• Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
• Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with and knowledge of insurance reimbursement/DME billing requirements

Work Environment | Physical Demands

Provides patient care in physician’s offices, hospitals, and/or clinics, etc. This job involves potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.

Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Travel Requirements

May be required to travel up to 10-90% of the time, but overnight travel is not required.
